Mega core series CPU is launched by Shanghai Mega Core INTEGRATED Circuit Co., LTD. Founded in 2013, the company is a joint venture between a subordinate enterprise of Shanghai SasAC and Taiwan Via Electronics.
Based on X86 architecture, the company has successfully developed and mass produced multi-generation general-purpose CPU, forming two product series of "Kaifirst" and "Kaisheng", realizing development and innovation in many aspects, such as "from dual core to eight core", "from 1.6GHz to 3.0GHz", "from processor + chipset scheme to SoC single chip scheme", etc. It has the ability and conditions for independent evolution and development.

Main product performance is better. In June 2019, Mega Chip officially launched a new generation of 16nm X86 processor products -- KX-6000 and KH-30000 in Shanghai.
The new generation of Megabyte core processor is the first domestic common processor with main frequency up to 3.0GHz. It supports dual channel DDR4-3200 memory, adopts SoC design, including CPU, GPU and chipset. The chip integration is further enhanced, and the performance and power consumption is 3 times higher than the previous generation.
2, ShenWei
Sunway is developed by Shanghai High Performance Integrated Circuit Center. It was first based on DEC's Alpha architecture, and then independently developed SW_64 architecture. It has been applied in supercomputing and important fields, but it is slightly less seen in the civil market.
Shenwei 432, 443, 3232 under development. Shenwei 432 and 443 are 4-core CPUS, respectively using the fourth-generation and fifth-generation Shenwei core. The main frequency will reach 2.2-2.5ghz and 2.8-3.0ghz respectively, and the comprehensive performance will reach 60% and 80% of the international mainstream desktop CPU of the same period respectively.
