Apple's mixed reality headset may have an M2 chip

Apple's mixed reality headset may have an M2 chipRumors have been swirling around Apple's mixed reality headset for a while now. A new report by Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman suggests the device could be powered by Apple's flagship M2 processor. According to Gurman, the device is capable of providing AR and VR experiences, including a basic M2 chip and 16GB of running memory.
The M2 chip, which Apple unveiled at WWDC earlier this month, has an 18% faster CPU and 35% faster GPU than the M1.
There are indications that the launch window for Apple's headset is January 2023. Apple's board reportedly had a chance to try out the device in May. The operating system it will use, RealityOS, is also reportedly in Apple's code and in the company's possible trademark application.
