China General Nuclear Power: first-half net profit of 5.904 billion yuan up 7.39% year on year

China General Nuclear Power (003816) disclosed the semi-annual report on the evening of August 24. On June 23, 2022, Hongyanhe Unit 6 completed all commissioning work and was put into commercial operation. On April 20, 2022, Lufeng Units 5 and 6 were approved by The State Council. In the first half of 2022, CGN managed 26 units in transit and 6 units under construction (including 4 units under construction entrusted by the Company's controlling shareholder).
Nuclear power units in operation: In the first half of 2022, all nuclear power units in operation managed by the company achieved safe and stable operation, with a cumulative on-grid electricity of 92.835 billion KWH, down 2.51% from the same period last year.
