Well, some idea. As far as I understand, onKeyPress are used now to control robot. I think, it will be funny to use "control input field" as buffer for commands and to show commands executed. For example:
* first letter from "control input field" are send to the robot
* when command sended to the robot, correspondent letter will be removed from field
* limit field to, say, 10-20 letters to block too long open-loop operations

We could do that but it is simpler to understand for some people if the letters all appear. Try hitting the keys faster. It will move faster as well.

Hitting keys faster do not helps much, I feel commands missing sometimes. If i press "w", say, five times, I will fortunately see only 3 or 4 "atomic" movements.

Every Key press works. It's just that if you rotate the arm to the other way then the gears have some clearance so it needs some rotations to pick up but the motor rotates. You are doing great by the way :) Stack those cubes and win a Gumstix Overo for free :) today until 9:00 PM

Careful though since some cubes are closer to the camera than others so make sure they stay up there when you release them.

Well, readed the contest rules. First, I should build my tower in one session. Second, I should not log in again during the contest :)

But it's amazingly cool anyway. If latency will be something like 0.5 seconds, it will be quite easy and intuitive (after some minimal trainig) to operate.

Glad you like the robot. I am afraid there is nothing we can do about the delay. the signals for control are actually transmitted instantly. It is only the Video stream that depends on the user connection. As we rated it here, it takes approx 2 - 3 seconds on our server.

Hopefully you can spread the word a bit about the contest and your winnings as well as post some comments. It would certainly be appreciated.
