Ether you lost the already available 3mm LED piece in the Beginner Kit or just want to have more options to play with, we provide this piece separately for you to get. The LED piece already has an internal resistor. the internal resistor helps you minimize the number of components in your design as well as optimize the circuit it self. Everything is nicely tucked inside the piece and only the top of the 3mm LED is visible.
