This Gizmo (as many others in our shop) was suggested by one of our member. The main idea for this device is to have 2 or more of these Gizmos plugged into different areas of the house and through Gestures or sound commands to be able to interact with home appliances or other devices.

Although the above idea was the main reason we created this Gizmo, it doesn't mean that it should be limited to this application. Based on the features of the device, the applications are endless and the only barrier is your own imagination.

This Gizmo Requires One of the Overo platforms available from Gumstix and any platform (Air, Earth, Fire, Water) would work with this Gizmo. However we recommend that the Overo Air is used together with tis device simply because this is the platform we created it for and any additional features available on other platforms (such as 3D acceleration) would simply be useless. This is why we have this platform as an option for those who don't have it seperately.
