Our Game Development contest has come to an end and the votes are out. We had many people voting for ideas posted by the contestants with great comments and versatile opinions. We hope that with this and many more contests to come we can bring the Open Source community closer and develop truly Open Source solutions for everyone to enjoy. We are very excited to announce the winners since this is just the beginning for our Ares gaming platform and we can't wait what the contestants are going to come up with next. Without any further delay here are the winners as they have been categorized by your votes.

1st place and the prize goes to pat with the idea entry Cosmic Assault. Congratulations pat, you have won:

  • Free Ares Gaming Platform with all the available accessories and tools for development
  • €1500 money prize which will be given in the form of 50% at the beginning of the development stage (now) and 50% when the development is complete.
  • Permanent place in our Shop for selling this and any new game created by you, with 80% sales fee

2nd place goes to rodrigonegrete with his original and fun idea Prip. Your won:

The World could not continue as an idea due to the Commercial and Legal involvements regarding it's plot. The contestant has been informed and we have offered him to help us develop a game of our own for the Ares platform. Prizes for his participation and enthusiasm have already been sent.
