Track Anything

We have announced last week about our new tracking service but what is a tracking service without a great variety of tracking devices to go with it. We thought it would be nice to have a device for every occasion even if we didn't make it our selves. So we happily present to you some great new additions in our shop.

We now have a tracker for any sort of application, starting from a Wrist Watch tracker (yes that guy has GSM and GPS inside) and finishing with Alarm/Vehicle tracking solutions. All of the trackers are supported by our service. Protocols weren't difficult to implement since they are similar with only some variations related to features of each one. In general all trackers follow the same principle and any variations are only pointed out in battery capacity, size and additional features. The trackers above as well as others we currently have in our Shop cover all aspects, so the only thing left now is to get one and start tracking.

See anything familiar? Have you logged into the Demo Account for the Tracking Service lately? If you haven't then we recommend you do. Just something we did during the weekend. There is actually a name for this, GPS Drawing. Took us a while to prepare it and do the actual work but what better way to test a tracker than to draw with it on a map.

We also created a separate section for current and future Tracking users in our Forum, so if you have any questions or ideas about the service then don't hesitate to post there.

Projects

Allot of activity can be seen in our Projects section. Winners of our Game Development Contest are actively working on games for our Ares gaming platform. We actually were quite impressed with the amount of tasks these guys placed in their projects. Organizing each part of game development can be quite difficult, especially when you are on your own and time is pressing you from every side. Although key elements for every game are not displayed publicly (for obvious reasons) there is still content to be published in the Ares Community Group soon. Some teaser images are a must at some point so keep watching that Activity Stream module (on the top left side of the front page).

Have in mind that revealing most of the Project is done by Registering on the website and logging in. Time tasks and other privileges will automatically be revealed to all members with additional access permissions, which are not only activated for the Project Management section but for the entire page.

Gizmos Under Your Fingers

In older news posts we have mentioned something about being able to test and play with our Gizmos Live through our site. Well that day is approaching soon.

We have almost finished the test-beads for the Gizmos that can be interacted with (since not all of them can actually be pressed, be viewed or be heard). The Page section and control of our CNC machine through the web are complete and the only thing left now is to assemble some custom accessories so that the CNC machine is able to easily "simulate" the press of a finger or slide of a switch. If you haven't voted yet for the Gizmo you would like to test and interact with then head to the Polls section and do so.
