Gen 1.55

Many people have been asking us about the G1.55 version of the FLOW to which we keep referring to. Although we have posted in the past that we made some critical updates to the latest version of the device (G1.5) we never officially mentioned anything about the naming of it. FLOW G1.55 is the latest and last version of our Gumstix Based FLOW. The available Gizmo in the Shop IS G1.55 although the name in the product section remained the same.

We have recently uploaded some updated photos of the G1.55 motherboard which clearly show the differences. The specifications in the shop and everywhere else on our site have also been updated for some time now. If you are unfamiliar with these updates then we strongly recommend reading about these changes before purchasing the product.

In order to explain better what has actually changed we created the above short video describing main changes and updates. The video guides you through the main components we added as well as show you some quick info about FLOW operation and hardware capabilities. If you like this video then you can also subscribe to our YouTube Channel to stay informed about latest uploads.

After multiple requests from our Tracking Service users we have changed our tracking interface from OpenStreet Maps to Google Maps. Although we still believe that OpenStreet maps are best for tracking due to their flexibility and update capabilities, we are here to serve and help in any way we can. If there are any more suggestions or additions that you would like to see on our website then simply ask for it and we shall be more than happy to look into it.

Dear Sirs, Would liek to check that this phone can support following BANDS and net work ?
GSM850, GSM900, GSM1800, GSM1900, UMTS900, UMTS2100
CSD, GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, HSDPA, HSUPA, 1xEV-DO Rev. A

Hi Lite,

FLOW G1.55 uses the Telit UC864-G module which supports the above bands as well as the antennas that are included in the device. you can find more info about the module in the data-sheet, located in the FLOW G1 project files since it is the same module as was used in previous versions of the FLOW and has served us well so far.

Dear Sirs,
We need to order 2 full set of G1.55 version of flow phone but when i tried to shop it shows only G1.5 only and not G1.55, so am confused how to order G1.55?

Could you pls comment and update? Also this comes with Charger and Other development Flash Cables?

The G1.5 product in the shop IS the latest G1.55 we just didn't update the name in the shop. This is also described in our news on the front page. The charger and other cables must be purchased separately.

As an advice, if you require the devices to be shipped as soon as possible then try paying through PayPal or bank transfer since when paid by Credit card we only get the founds 20 working days after and have a slight delay with Part ordering.
