This poll was created for the Ares Game development contest that we initiated for both Ogre3D and Irrlicht Open-source game engines and posted the rules for the contest on their associated forums. This is our first contest related to game development for the Ares Gaming Platform and many contestants have signed up for the prize as well as for the pure fun of it.

Below you shall see the Game ideas that were submitted for the contest. You can also read about each of these ideas in our Forum as well as check out media that some contestants have posted in the Ares Community Group.

Choose the idea you like most since your vote plays a great part in our judging for the winners of the contest.

Have in mind that only Registered members can vote.

Dot Hack// is by far one of the best video games out there let alone the idea of a virtual reality with people character customization and sooo much more about and if SG57 is willing to take all this on i support it 110% whatever u need SG57 let me know ill c what i can help with

Keepers and Cosmic Assault are explained the best and make me want to play them. They all nice.

It is better to look at the idea when voting, but I don't think I'm alone in saying it is difficult to vote for an idea which hasn't been expressed in anything other then some text and not so much as a logo or crudely drawn concept art. Especially with a before prize being awarded. In any case, I made it so The World doesn't have this to worry about since there is proof of its existence as both a concept and a product that does it justice (yet its still in development as well).

In the end it does come down to personal preference - if you prefer a unique scorched earth hybrid Keepers or a 2D shoot em' Cosmic Assault or an interesting platformer Prip or an open world 3D RPG similar to final fantasy (except w/ real time fighting) The World.

The World has lots of graphics and stuff already. Looks really nice. But it needs an interesting plot, or lots of detail.
Keepers is original. Prip is maybe more original. So cute. Keepes might be boring (sorry don't mean to offend). Cosmic Assault has no demo or anything. Sounds like fun though.
It is a hard choice as we don't know what the people are capable of. It's just concept.
I voted based on what I'd want to play.

Nice to see such a variety in opinions. I would suggest not to look so much into graphics of an idea but into the idea it self when voting.

The world looks like it'd really show off the platform. Some of the other concepts are cool, but they haven't really shown off any cool gfx yet... it's nice to see something tangible

This contest is cool. Prip is cute but I think cosmic assault is more exiting.
