This idea came to us initially when we first started Gizmo For You and posted about it in our early news. After the initial post a great storm hit with ideas about all sort of Gizmos and wishes members would like to get maid, so we postponed this project.

Now it is time to open our archives and minds as we create this (as we believe) great Gizmo and share it with the world. Over the years we have seen and are still seeing many kits that let beginners or intermediate users assemble their own electronic devices by soldering predefined components on simple or complex PCB's. In some cases this could be fun and educational but after you solder the PCB or add a couple of time components to a Bread-Board then the education is over, leaving you with a device that became too simple for you or useless. Soldering also creates another problem especially for small children for whom this is dangerous and in some cases hazardous. We actually were amazed that no-one has ever thought or created something similar, so we decided to do it.

The Idea is simple.You see Puzzles in all sorts of kits and games. It is fun as well as harmless and in some cases even educational. By taking this already existing idea (of puzzles) we thought of going one step further. What if inside each puzzle piece there was an electronic component, LED or battery? By assembling different pieces you get a different result every time, making it educational, fun and harmless. There are many applications for this idea so vote wisely since every vote counts and it will help us determine how practical this idea is.
