It is only natural that at one point or another people that work or experiment with electronics might want to work on something more advanced. Something like Gumstix.
We made allot of projects with Gumstix Platforms and tried out most of the expansion PCB's they have. But sometimes you just want to have it all in One.
So we just thought... "Hmm, why not make one that has it all" and so we did.
First there was the PCB, then we sat down, scratched our heads a bit, saying "Ooookay, this is going to be a handful to solder" and after a day or so of soldering and some quick tests WE MADE IT !
So now we and everyone else (since this is an Open Source community) can enjoy having all the cool features on this PCB and play around with them.
We shall always make improvements to this Gizmo since you can't ever make something Perfect.
As a current goal we have an idea to combine this Gizmo with our GSM - GPS Tracker and make the ultimate Open Source Tracking Solution.
OK, New update. We had the enclosures for this all this time and didn't realize that people could use them for all the other stuff we made for the Gumstix Verdex & Pro platform. So here are some photos of the enclosures for this project.
