A note before you return anything to Gizmo For You.
We are happy to assist you with returns/exchanges, depending on certain factors related to the device you are interested in returning.
- If you are concerned that one of your items is defective, please contact our Technical Support. They can assist you with trouble shooting, and decide if the unit will require repair/replacement.
- If the item is simply not what you wanted, or you ordered the wrong thing, and it has
- Not been soldered to, or modified in any other way.
- Has not been powered, or reprogrammed.
please contact Sales for information on how to process your return. Items that do not fit the above criteria, you must first contact Technical Support for return authorization prior to sending a request.
- Items that are sent back to us without a Return Authorization can not be processed.
- Your items will be tested, and replaced in the order they were received. Please allow us up to 2 weeks to process a return before contacting us about it.
- Items that have been soldered to can not be returned.

- To receive an RMA number, you must first speak with Technical Support, unless you meet condition #3 below. Then, once you have spoken with Tech Support or met condition #3 below, please include your name, order number, and the reason for the return in an e-mail request to Sales. Then follow our instructions for shipping the return back to Gizmo For You.
- Returns for any unaffected Gizmo, development board, programmer, tools, and cables permitted within 14 days from the date of receipt of merchandise.
- Any non-Gizmo For You manufactured product return must be authorized by the manufacturer, where applicable, in order to receive an RMA from Gizmo For You.
- Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. We are not responsible for any shipping charges of merchandise being returned to us.
- All returned merchandise must be in its original mint and clean condition. Returns on damaged, scratched, programmed, burnt, or otherwise 'played with' merchandise will not be accepted.
- All returns must include all the factory accessories which come with the item. This includes any In-Circuit-Serial-Programming cables. Separate items such as serial cables and metal risers should not be included.
- With your return, enclose this original receipt or a copy of it. Also include a brief letter of explanation of why the merchandise is being returned and state your request for either a refund or an exchange. Include the authorization number on this letter, and on the outside of the shipping box.
- If any item arrives damaged due to shipping, immediately contact the carrier. Keep all shipping cartons, and email Gizmo For You immediately.
- If any item arrives defective from Gizmo For You, please contact Technical Support immediately. Defective items should not be modified, or soldered to. If they have been soldered to, please do not remove any connected items before contacting Technical Support. What is unaffected? If you hooked it to power, or soldered to it you affected it. Because of the nature of the products we deal with (prototyping electronic tools) we cannot allow returns of items that have been programmed, powered up, or otherwise changed post shipment from our warehouse. Returned merchandise will be accepted only if all conditions a, b, & c (see below) are met.
- We reserve the right to limit quantities. Pictures are for illustration purposes only. We are not responsible for typographical errors.
