The general idea was that the protocols that the Gizmo could read would be globalized in such a way that most sensors, Digital or analog could be read from it. Also another request was that the Gizmo it self would output the data through a USB port and not from Serial since most Notebooks and Ports in general these days are all USB. After some design work we have came up with the final design. It has 12 I/O ports and can read 4 types of signals. * Digital (On - OFF) * Analog * 1 Wire * I2C
