Yet another year has passed, filling us with new experiences and hopes. For Gizmo For You this year was especially important since a new and dare i say one of our best ideas came to life. Lots of brain storming as well as trial and error is still ahead which is a good thing. The Project mentioned is OSRC, our Open Source Remote Control. It was a long road from an idea to reality and a difficult one. Although at it's current stage of development we cannot disclose any details, be assured that what we are working on, will astonish everyone as it did our team. The project has large potential and it's magnitude deserves our full attention which is why it will be our new Flag-Ship after FLOW. A team dedicated only to OSRC is being organized as well as many other activities and plans for the future related to it. For the time being all we can say is that the release date is near but how near everyone will find out in early 2012.
Enough about work (although in our case work IS fun as well). From the entire Gizmo For You team we wish everyone Happy Holidays and a Happy New Year. For some there are more than just 2 holidays for others there are less than 2. For us it is 3 holidays in a row :)
Even though Gizmo For You has been around for quite some time now, officially our organization was registered on the 1st of January 2008. So we celebrate Christmas, New Years Eve and finally our Birth Day, or should i say the birthday of this little guy:
Yep, this January we are celebrating the birth of 2012 AND our 4th Year. 4 Years of Gizmo creations and official involvement as well as contribution in/for the Open Source community.
As always if you have any questions, suggestions or requests then don't hesitate to Contact Us or simply post your thoughts in our Forum. Once again the Gizmo For You team wishes everyone Merry Christmas and a Happy New 2012.
PS: If anyone is wondering about how Cyprus (the country where we are located) looks like just before Christmas then here are some shots we took on the 24th of December 2011 while doing a Photo-shoot for one of our Gizmos.

One of the things i love about Cyprus in the winter is that with just a 2 hour drive you can experience all 4 seasons. Starting from a warm sunset near the coast and finishing with a chill snowy afternoon.
