FPV Modules |
A truly unique solution for both, FPV (First Person View) as well as UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) applications.
Preparing for an FPV (First Person View) flight has always been a challenge due to reasons such as hardware assembly, size as well as power consumption. Bulky setups took up most of the model space with hardware which in most cases was not designed for the assigned purpose. For these and many other reasons we decided to create a unit worthy of OSRC. The FPV Module Mark1 provides features such as Video Transmission through 5.8GHz, which eliminates most conflicts with systems that operate that operate on close by frequencies. Internal GPS as well as GSM provide an additional set of functions which bring the model to a completely new and highly advanced state, by providing highly accurate position readings and a GSM based communication interface which seamlessly integrates through an already rich set of communication techniques OSRC provides.
The FPV Module Mark1 also has the ability to host other modules such as our Sensor and Model Controller modules, without additional power requirements. By combining the modules in any way required, the operator gives even more freedom to a model, without having to worry about proper assembly or complicated integration.
The module also includes all the necessary connections for an external camera, may it be a High Definition device such as a Go-Pro or something simple for a quick view inside or outside the model. With the 8 available video channel selections and a quick setup through OSRC, the operator is eliminated from as much of the headache as possible, creating a reliable setup for any application at hand.
Combined with a vast feature selection that OSRC already provides, the additional data for GPS as well as a powerful GSM connection, a truly unique setup can be achieved which in no way would be inferior to already available UAV or FPV solutions, surpassing any expectations of the operator and providing a great as well as simple to use tool for any mission. With the option to combine modular parts for any given application, the FPV Module Mark1 becomes the heart of any FPV setup.

Dear Jorge, I didn't have any problems with the board if it is set up as described. As you shall see ...
At-last, the hard part is behind us. The Ilios machine produced its first results. The initial build, seen in this image was a test not only for the functionality of the machine but also for its endurance since during the build there were lots of tests done, like adding weights to the build lift, messing with the motors and doing stress tests while the machine was working. Needless t
Finally after many days in testing and development i can now proudly say that our Ilios HD machine is working. Although the last component for our first build hasn't arrived yet (PDMS for the Vat surface), all mechanics operate flawlessly and i even did a test print with the projector setup mentioned in our Facebook page.
At last all the parts needed for the 3D printer build arrived. It took some time for the main components (mechanics) to get here but once i received the crate, it became clear why. The package weighed over 280kg and was very nicely sealed in a wooden crate. All the aluminum extrusions, spindles, fastening hardware
Although things may seem to have gone quiet, after the IndieGoGo campaign finished, a lot of things have been happening behind the scenes and on the website. First off, few days after the campaign was funded, all parts have been ordered. I am happy to say that the last projectors shall be picked up on Monday (25/02/2013) since
